Laid out on the deck (South East Cape) this morning before dawn and got a good look at several little ones in about a half hour. Kind of cool to know that they are tiny bits of Halley's comet, left over from its previous fly-bys.

Hola, fog up here !! the marine layer has bee coming in at sundown and burning off during the day so we didnt get to see it,,bummer....what part of the south east cape are you ??? we started building in 80/81 at punta gordo (zacatitos) and back then every body said were crazy to build out there !!! K&T:cool::cool:

El Jefe - 10-21-2012 at 04:28 PM

Going into Zac's for dinner in Zacatitos. We are about 7 miles further out from town between Shipwrecks and 9 Palms. Life is good out here. But the road sucks after the rains. Keeps out the riff raff.

One hell of a show in San Felipe! Following night there was a good show off Hiway-78 in Palo Verde

ddawson - 10-22-2012 at 02:24 PM

I'm currently living on the Big Island, and my roommates and I went up to Mauna Kea from 12-230am. It was an amazing show. I saw quite a few big ones, and a ton of little ones. It was pretty cool!
