Where to get 180 day fm in Tecate

I know there was a thread about getting your FM in Tecate by walking across the border; however, I can't find it. So, can anyone tell me if the office is still open I. Tecate to get your 180 day visa?

Got our permits there one week ago. Immediately across border on right side. Nice lady took our passports and filled out the permit forms and handed them back for signatures. We then went next door to the bank kiosk and paid our fees, back to the immigration lady who stamped the permits for us and sent us on our way. Whole process took maybe 20 minutes.

I posted the times you could get and pay for FMMs at Tecate last month when I went to meet the governor of Baja California.

I lucked out and found a parking spot on the street a couple blocks from the Migra office. Once I got the visa, it was a straight shot to my car on the sidewalk from the Mexican side. I indicated to the Mexican border guys - OK to walk toward to the US? They motioned, yes - go ahead. Once I started walking to my car, a US border patrol guy in a car honked at me and waved me over. He said, "what are you doing? You just came from Mexico? If you hadn't havef come over when I honked, I would have tackled you." I told him, well, those guys said it was OK. He says, "those guys don't know anything." He directed me to the US customs building - really difficult to determine the entrance - where I needed to walk across. Nobody else in line, so no problema. They have a bathroom too.
