Curiously, many people say that there are no places to go out in Mexicali is also true that the city is a tourist spot that has too many attractions to hang out but we have excellent clubs, a beach not far, recreational parks, cinemas and places to go to eat that says that there is nothing to see in Mexicali is not willing to leave.

So true, I was in Mexicali for two nights, and found a more diverse night life there than in Fresno, plus better food. I still think i havent seen it all over there. Do you live in Mexicali ?

Mexicali is great to visit. There are numerous fantastic Chinese restaurants there. Get off the main drag when driving thru...take an side road towards SF. ......it's a really cool town!

I know what you mear about Chinese Food in Mexicali. Also, great for tacos.

Lou Wells and I use to go up to Mexicali to get VW parts all the time and once he took me to a great taco place, Asadero Gran Ocotlan at 32.638471 -115.444052

If you are ever in the area, give it a try, you will like it.

We lived in El Centro for 13 years, leaving in 1986. Even back then we spent most our night-life evenings in Mexicali and it was great. I love that city!!! Great food, of all varieties, and very friendly (at least back then it was).

Viva Mexicali!!!!

Barry

Still is very friendly :-)
