Nice video footage. I just don't understand what is exciting about all of this. It seems redundant images.

It is far different than being there... When you are there, you have the rocks kicked up, the dust... and perhaps the glory!

This is from our viewpoint at the Baja 1000. We had a high ground view at the entrance to Papa Fernandez on Gonzaga Bay shared with some of the local Gringos...awesome viewpoint watching the racers come along the ridge to the underconstruction bridge over the papas gulch and up past the roadworkers camp!

Never posted a link before...hope it works

nice Video and good view paranewbi . I wonder if any other Nomads got good video to share

Hi Willardguy...If Claudia is connected to the Papa Fernandez family...yes! They were selling them right next to us and the other gringos. Excellent too but I wish she had made some Queso (my favorite) although I had several of the Res kind they offered! The grit of the dust from the passing racers made it necessary to wash them down with an imobilizing elixr.

Hey Bruce; Thanks! as we were first timers to a Baja 1000, the ability to see the racers hauling butt along the far off straight ridge line in the distance with rooster tails following their lights, and then rounding the corners of the nearby switchbacks leading to Papa's gulch / Bridge construction dissapearing for a second and then reappearing right on us was awesome!

As well all of the 'toasted' local Gringos made us feel welcome as each one of them came up to us to introduce themselves, warning us not to believe anything the last liar who introduced themselve said (tongue in cheek of course) followed by their wives who complained that the guys do nothing but drink beer all day together (seemed like a lot of them were retired firefighters).

Not to change the thread...but, is it bad order to post videos that show Gringos who have not had the opportunity to voice opposition to having their image spread over youtube? I have other videos I would post but don't want to offend the innocent.
