Is there a pool at least 25 yards long in La Paz that one can do laps in? Gotta be one somewhere in that big city.philodog - 12-4-2012 at 09:21 AM
Wow! I just noted I have been promoted to Junior Nomad. Woohoo!Sandlefoot - 12-4-2012 at 09:26 AM
Blandra Bay is a little bit bigger than your request but it is about the same depth!!!

I've often wondered about this too. There is a sports club sort of thing on the highway between Chametla and El Centenario - on the left side of the
road when you are driving out of La Paz and going towards El Centenario. The sign says they have tennis courts and swimming (natacion), but I don't
know how big the pool is. That's the only place I can think of - perhaps someone from La Paz will chime in.dtbushpilot - 12-5-2012 at 10:06 AM
Congratulations on your promotion philo, stick with Nomads, there's more where that came from. I don't know about any pools in La Paz but they do have
a pretty nice bay.

There is a water sports facility. If I remember correctly, it's near Padre Kino y Alta Tension.weebray - 12-5-2012 at 10:44 AM

That's the one I'm thinking of. Thanks.philodog - 12-5-2012 at 01:07 PM
Thanks! I`ll check it out and report back when I get there. I do lots of miles in the Sea of Cortez but I like a good pool workout with no wetsuit or
jellyfish once in a while.
