Around ten years ago, I watched a compact car hooked to the mechanism that pulls cars through the wash, get caught up in the track and almost torn in two. The lady who owned the car acted like one of her children had been eaten alive right in front of her. Man.....talk about upset.....
Anyway....it is a nice car wash.

Where, or where?

John M - 12-4-2012 at 03:25 PM

Where's it located?

Wow....look how clean that floor is in the shop..... incredible!

sancho - 12-4-2012 at 03:31 PM

Oil/Filter 65pesos, like $5.20? It costs me 5qt Castrol
Oil/Fram filter at Walmart $20, and that's doing it myself

Basically, all the work done in that shop is done down in the pit....lube and oil change, but you're right. It is clean.

Martes y Jueves only.....the sign says.

Remember "reclaim oil" in the states? I wonder if they have it here? :?:

Marc - 12-4-2012 at 06:03 PM

Sign me up:yes::yes::yes:

bajaguy - 12-4-2012 at 06:06 PM

Thanks Bruce, but I will always use a local hand car wash. Those revolving brushes in photo #5 can really mess up a paint job if they have sand on them........I know from experience.

lizard lips - 12-4-2012 at 06:12 PM

I use to go there several years ago when it took about 1 1/2 hours to get your car back and they did a great job but you had better pack a lunch. They closed down and it's under new management now. I have been there and it's great! Just for a simple outside wash is 50p.

lizard lips - 12-4-2012 at 06:15 PM

Oh, now exterior is 69.90p I want my correct change for 70p.

5$ USD - no way - You must have this wrong - looks good otherwise

Looks like a nice car wash !!

captkw - 12-4-2012 at 06:37 PM

But where is it ?? and to make along story short ... the zip,oil can and speedy oil & filter places screw up so many cars and truck's !! fogeting the drain plug gasket...over thighting drain plug..forget to check if oil seal of filter is stuck on motor..not adding oil to seal and Over thight oil filters.. not checking or changing pvc or spark arrester, flame traps in vent system..adding wrong weight & class of oils......and thats just off the top of my head !!! trying to save a buck on the lifeblood of you motor may not be a good thing in the long run!!!!

David K - 12-4-2012 at 06:47 PM

Best of all... Bruce... did you post those perfectly sized photos???

EXCELLENT!!!

Yup.......continue north on Hwy 1 (Reforma). You will pass the Office Depot/Soriana (supermarket) on your left, a hospital on your right, then a traffic circle/Soriana on your right,,,,that is 5th street.....car wash should be just ahead on your left (west side of Reforma)

Dang!!!

bajaguy - 12-4-2012 at 07:21 PM

Hate it when that (^) happens.... :fire:

yep,,happens to the best of folks !!!

I think that's labor only since the quantity/type/cost of oil varies so much. Ditto for the filter. walMart prices the same way.

Bruce R Leech - 12-5-2012 at 08:51 AM

the Oil change is labor only 90 pesos. minis 20 percent if you wash car.

Oil is chevron DELO 400 LE 11.50 at Walmart filter is ford Motercraft 4.50 at Walmart.

they check every thing and adj. tire presser to ware you want it.

Bruce R Leech - 12-5-2012 at 08:57 AM

Car wash is 49 pesos midweek exterior only. I get the make my car new package for 100 pesos all week

A Utility Co up in So Cal, with there fleet small trucks
does not change oil, they just repalce the filter
and top off the oil. I understand, maybe wrong, that
oil doesn't loose lubrication but gets dirty, causing
wear

I would not do that on anything you care about

Bruce R Leech - 12-5-2012 at 12:52 PM

the truck in the Photos is almost 18 years old and I would not trade it for a New one

Bruce, saw the truck pics and had to look outside to make sure mine was still there. I've owned mine since new, she's got 340k miles now on the original motor and tranny.

Bruce R Leech - 12-5-2012 at 07:03 PM

wow twins:O

they dont make them that good anymore. the new ones are all plastic and have no torque engines.
