We've been reading about this on the board, and hope he is found soon. I'm sure someones probably already thought of this, but what about hiring the guy who flies around on the ultralight to go up and buzz the canyons? Wish we were there to help with the search posse.

P y d:
That is a really smart idea.
Hope they thought of it and he took off at first light.

Nothing posted on the pb board yet, but hope Ron is home and safe.

Nothing new

bajaguy - 12-18-2012 at 09:33 AM

As of this morning

He was flying two weeks ago, when we were there last. Of course he can't go out in bad weather. It was just a thought, meant to help.

The question remains why Ron put his jacket, cell phone and wallet down. Was someone escorting him and instructing him to do it? Or did he make the decision to do it? And why?

We went out to the place where he was reported to have been, If someone fell fron there the chances for survival would be slim and next to none

MX Navy divers searched area for 2 days with no luck but there have been 6 tide changes + huge surge since his jacket was found and the cliff at that spot is undercut with absolutely nothing to hang onto.

DENNIS - 12-21-2012 at 09:22 AM

THe speculation is becoming grotesque.

EnsenadaDr - 12-21-2012 at 09:39 AM

Not really grotesque, Dennis. What other conclusions can you come to at this point?

At this point, I conclude that no one here knows what happened and the possibilities are only limited to the amount of television drama one devotes his/her life to.
Why not let it play out until someone else makes the call.

EnsenadaDr - 12-21-2012 at 09:59 AM

Dennis I know how upset you are about this whole thing, but if everyone sat back and didn't think that something bad might have happened to him, there would be no sea searches, especially after they found his belongings on land, that is a logical conclusion. And after what J.P. said about the area, it appears all the more logical.

DENNIS - 12-21-2012 at 10:32 AM

It's disgusting when tragedy turns to bar-talk.
Let Linda make the call.

EnsenadaDr - 12-21-2012 at 10:39 AM

Dennis, you are taking this all wrong. People are trying to brainstorm. The more people that know about this, the more they can spread the word. And considering that you posted on the other site about the incorrect location that the Mexican press said Ron was in, no one can rely on the newspapers. I am sure everyone here is hurting for Linda, and wants to help.

Bajatripper - 12-21-2012 at 03:23 PM

Read your posts over on the Fulano Files, Dennis. One other possibility comes to my mind, someone who wishes to disappear for whatever reasons, but often financial.

This was posted on the Punta Banda Buletin Board about an hour ago

Judy Anderson and I went out to the Tiger Woods complex this morning with the saint from Proteccion Civil, Jose Luis Cosio Manríquez. He showed us the area where Ron's jacket was found; we were able to walk down and sit on a deck that was there and see exactly where it was. It is between Camps 5 and 7, just north of a sandbar. It is basically inaccessible because one needs to have the gates to Punta Brava or whatever it's called opened. The search will continue today, possibly tomorrow.

I am eternally grateful to everyone who's called, emailed, posted, brought food/wine, etc. and hope I'll be able to reciprocate some day. Right now I'm waiting. My oldest Mexican daughter, her boyfriend, her older sister and niece, as well as Hugo's parents may be here tonight to help. My children have been my rocks. My oldest daughter, in North Carolina, has kept me from going completely nuts (although, I know, there are those of you who would dispute that!)

Again, thank you to everyone.

Thank you for posting Linda's update. I truly hope she is not on any message boards where her husband's disappearance is up for speculation. They are not comforting, nor helpful.

That occured to me , Steve, but I thought it best left unmentioned for the moment.

Update from Ron's wife Linda

durrelllrobert - 12-28-2012 at 06:18 PM

There is nothing new to report; Protección Civil's Jose Luis called me this morning to tell me that they will be looking at the beaches in Ensenada proper and that he will keep me up to date. Thanks for your concern and wonderful emails.
Linda Sanders

edit: I forgot to say this was a cut and paste from the Punta Banda Bulletin Board

If the authorities are putting as much effort into this recovery as they claim to be, I'm surprised. I would have thought they'd have given up long ago.
