The kite story.
A cuple yeers ago, we had sum serius windz and I decided to fli mi kiit. I hooked it up to my deep see poll and it tuk off like a bat outa hel.
I pit my thum on the spool and fride the hek out ov it. But, I did get the drag set and got er fliin peechy. Flu her fer about 5 minits and than set
the poll intu a spewl tabel. Seamed ok so I went in the howse to pach up the thum.
But, wen I kame bak out, the tabel was tipped over and no kite in site.
Too ov my nabers were looking out to see and they pointed up in the are. Thare wuz mi kiit making a bee line to the west.
I then lookd on the beech fer mi fishin poll and the nabers pointed out to see agen. The poll was water skiin on top of the waves and makin a pretty
gud klip to the west.
Well, thoze winds kept up fer 3 daze and it iz my gess that that poll made it to Hawaii, Switzerland or somewarez.
Ifn anibody hears of sum Korean fisherman getin skewered bi my poll, Im gonna deni the hole episoad
That wuz about a $450.00 dumazz muv on my part

He had the huevos to tell us he is dyslexic. His spelling cannot be helped I guess but at least he is trying.
It is about these characters that think being able to spell isn't important.
Spelling has nothing to do with intelligence, it has to do with comprehension, understanding what is going on in the world, say knowing who to vote
for, what you are eating, where to turn off and other trivial matters like those.
We all make mistakes in spelling regularly. Ignoring it just makes it get worse. And rather than try and improve, many would rather just make lame
excuses and argue about how it doesn't matter.
The saddest part is, in the u.s., they graduate without a basic education. Sure splains a lot donit.

Had high school grads in Mass working for me in a family bakery. My wife use to sit with them and use dimes and quarters to try to explain simple
fractions......
Where are all the nuns? No give aways with them.....learn or get left back....the real world.......gone!

I had no problem at all reading JRs post and Pappy's posts first quick pass.
Then again I overcame dislexia at an early age. It shows up often when I start typing. I don't notice it until I read through my typing. Probably why
I had no problem reading their posts.

Try reading James Joyce's Finnegan's Wake and then invent a language of your own.

Although they "fool the eyes," optical illusions are testaments to the strengths, rather than the weaknesses, of our visual system. When we are
presented with ambiguous or contradictory information, our brain immediately attempts to resolve the picture into a consistent scene.
In the pulsating square illusion, we see very little of the rotating blue square when the yellow occluding squares are large. In fact, we can only see
the edges of the blue square through the four narrow slits formed by the yellow squares. As the blue square rotates, its edges, as seen through the
slits, rise and fall from the center. Because the slits divide up the motion of the blue square into segments that are spaced far apart, this in -and
-out motion of the edges has greater perceptual salience than the rotation of the blue square.
In other words, because information about the blue square's motion is ambiguous, our visual system concentrates on the most noticeable features, the
movement of the edges. Since the edges' most prominent motion is in and out, the blue square appears to pulsate. As the yellow occluding squares
shrink, the salience of the blue square's rotation increases, and we no longer perceive that the blue square is pulsating.
The pulsating square illusion was conceived by Dr. Misha Pavel of the Oregon Graduate Institute.
