A fellow Baja Jeeper and I are planning on giving the new Matomi Canyon a go. Our Jeeps are set up for the Pole Line Road, and the Matomi Canyon
doesn't look too much more challenging than lower Jaquegel Canyon.

OK... 'new' in that the sand was washed away that once covered those boulders! It was almost that bad in 1978 when I first drove down Matomi... had to
jack up my Subaru a couple times to push it over boulders. The next 30 years it was covered by sand, and easy.
