Question: Has the location of pedestrian line changed with the new border crossing?

From posts the ped ENTRY into Mex is now on the east
side of the US Customs bldg, near the end of the SD
Trolley as opposed to the west side of Hwy 5, I assume
the ped entry INTO the US from Mex is the same as it
has been. Does anyone know
where a ped going into Mex at SY would access Mex the Immigration office? I imagine it has moved from the former
location at the turnstiles on the west side

That may be the north bound foot traffic. Did you notice, Ken, if it went into the US Customs building? That hasn't changed.

I have not been to the Tijuana Point of Entry recently, so I am asking someone who has first-hand experience what they have seen recently?

I was there recently

the new pedestrian entryway is to the far far left of the bldg., where the greyhound buses are located as well (I am not sure if they have always been there). Plenty of signs showing the way and plently of folks caminando

to access the visa line, one enters Mexico, walks over the traffic below via the elevated walkway and although I didnt need a visa, I presume once across the bridge, you BACKTRACK and go visit MIGRACION office.

In the middle of the first part entering Mexico on foot, there are some employees and if you have a suitcase/bag, they ask you to press a huge button which comes either GREEN or RED. I got a green and passed go.

I hear it goes behind McDonalds. [this is for southbound pedestrians]

Yes, Dennis

Our daughter walked over the new entry point for going south about a month ago. We parked in the big pay parking lot that is located near and acroos the street from the McDonald's, adjacent and in the shadow of the bridge. There are taxis idling on the street in this area and when you look up you see many pedestrians pulling their luggage on wheels across the bridge and down to the street.
