I came as close as you can get buying a lot at LH in the mid '90s. It was one of the nicest at $75k. After a couple of months of research and
discussions I had everything arranged with the RE agent the night before I flew down with cash in hand to buy. When I got there he tells me he sold
it the day before. Him being a Dbag probably saved me a lot of aggregation in the in the long run
I went back in 2003 while on vacation to check out LH. The place was still barely developed but there was a little house on my 'almost' lot.
