Peter Robbins, the voice of Charlie Brown from the "Peanuts" television series and movies, was arrested in California on Sunday on charges that
include stalking as he was crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.
Robbins entered the San Ysidro Port of Entry in a 2006 Mercedes Benz C230 and was pulled over by a Customs and Border Protection officer, said
Angelica de Cima with the CBP.
He was taken in for a more in-depth examination. The agency did a background check and noticed there was a felony warrant against Robbins from the San
Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Robbins was taken into custody and then booked into the San Diego County Jail. He will be arraigned Wednesday afternoon on counts of making a threat
to cause death or great bodily injury and stalking.
Robbins was the voice of Charlie Brown for the TV specials "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."
He began his acting career as a child and has made cameo appearances in several other television shows since.

well, i came thru otay a week ago and they sent us to secondary because i said i had a cooler full of fish. when the guy opened the lids he pulled out
the unopened package of sliced sandwich ham we had planned to have for lunch. he said it was a $300 fine for not declaring animal "products" WTF????
luckily, he was a reasonable man and let us off with a warning before finding the red barrel cactus and a few assorted succulents we had stashed....
NEVER trying that again!AmoPescar - 1-24-2013 at 09:08 PM

From the SD U-T:
------
The 12 felony charges filed Wednesday against Oceanside resident Peter Robbins cap a downward spiral of increasingly erratic behavior for the
56-year-old former child actor, who says he was diagnosed in August with terminal pancreatic cancer...
Robbins’ attorney, Marc Kohnen, said... “He’s distraught”...
The trouble began Dec. 31, when Carlsbad police responded to a domestic violence report between Robbins and his 33-year-old girlfriend...
In her request for a restraining order on Jan. 3, Saltz speculated that if his cancer had metastasized in his brain, that could be causing his
violent reactions.
From a FB post this morning (which I unfortunately find it difficult to disbelieve - even though I can't find an online source to link to with this
info):
'This morning, KFMB-TV reported that Robbins admitted making up the cancer story during an "exclusive interview."'
