Lobster Tacos at San Augustin

WOW
At km 77 between La Paz and Constitucion, this little restaurant has been on our itinerary every trip since our first visit 12 years ago. They dont always have lobster but, when they do, it is quite a treat.

Jim always has huevos rancheros and they never disappoint.

Yesterday they gave us some rancho cheese that was to die for. Almost tasted like cheddar.

Check it out!

NICE!!!

See it on this 1974 Map between La Paz and El Cien:

Is there any gas to be had in San Agustin? If there is, I will have to work it in while riding the coast north. Lobster tacos...yum

Nope no gas.

Thanks for posting the recommendation, there are a handful of restaurants in that stretch and I've always wondered which are the best. I'll try it next time through...

Regarding gas, there's a Pemex now in Las Pocitas, I think it's about K113.

I have a note in my Baja Almanac that the person behind the counter is Emilio. I personally have never stopped there but will if in the area. Thanks

You may have gotten that name from me years ago.
Emilio is not there now. I was afraid to ask where he was
