This was on the back cover of Mike's 1973 book: 'There it is: Baja!' and the paper-back edition in 1983, renamed 'Adventures in Baja':
This was from his giant wall map, which was modified in later years to show the paved highway after it was completed. The one above was made when the
pavement coming north reached Santa Rosalia.
