Are they still checking all the cars entering Mexico at San Ysidro and Otay Mesa for Mr. Dorner?
BajaDixon - 2-11-2013 at 09:11 PM
They were Sunday a.m. when I crossed. Unless he was in someone's trunk he wasn't getting across.
bajaguy - 2-11-2013 at 09:14 PM
Yes.........depending on where and when you cross could be up to a 60 minute wait
Bajaboy - 2-11-2013 at 09:20 PM
it was reported tonight that SY had a two hour wait and one hour at Otay....and yes, that was to enter Mexico!

Just (Tuesday morning) heard on local San Diego news that the cops are still checking southbound border traffic. The reporter said it was a huge mess
yesterday during the afternoon rush hours.

Thanks for the info everyone. We're headed down this morning around 10:30. Hope it's not too bad.

It may even get worse as the news is guessing a good chance that he's in Mexico.
This guy is gettin' to be a real freakin pest.

He sure is. Heard they raided an hotel in Tijuana last night on a tip with no results and now they think he has already entered Mexico. Sure hope
they catch this guy.

Does anyone know if Tecate is aany better? I'm heading out to Chula Vista from Ensenada tomorrow. Hopefully a quick trip up and back.

Going to the US is not the problem, returning to Mexico is where the long lines are.
Try to time your return during non-rush/commuter hours

sounds right, I'm leaving early a.m. for some quick shopping and hopefully return mid afternoon before the rush.

Think those checks leaving USA will be shut down quickly, if they've not been already. Sounds like Big Bear was the site of the last stand.
