well, let me tell you... we were in santa rosalia yesterday when el boleo set off a mine explosion. it felt like an earthquake and our truck
lifted up off the ground.
I would answer back if I were Mother Nature too.

I haven't felt a thing, really?
Mulegena - 2-16-2013 at 09:01 PM
Yes, Mulege is shaking.
Pretty deep and under foot.
How far off the fault-line are we?
Those explosions in Sta. Rosalia and San Marcos Island are sumthin', too-- real fanny-whumpers,-- but that's not what's going on underground with Ma
Earth's finger on the button.

I havnt felt anything....I have often wondered tho, with everything we take out of the earth are we creating a hollow planet? What is going to hold it
together?
Bob and Susan - 2-17-2013 at 06:50 AM

Just a few very light tremors in Mulegé, window rattlers.
We have been having these occasionally since we came here in 2000.
Bottom end of the San Andreas fault, but never experienced any damage.
DavidE - 2-18-2013 at 12:50 PM
With the San Andreas fault thirty miles offshore and a major DORMANT (not extinct) series of Volcanoes just north of Sta Rosalia, quakes would be
rather expected.
