hi gang... is it the same as san ysidro, just pull into declare lane, park, passport, paperwork pay and be friendly?... any help apprecieated...

On the right side the first building is where you get the form and fill it out...if you can, pull into the small parking lot on the south side of this
building...it's sometimes full with the 10 cars that might fit but really try to pull in there. If you continue you will be stuck in the inspection
lot and have to walk back to the first building. After getting your form and filling it out the clerk will give you a form to take to the bank witch
is on the left side of the entrance to the inspection parking area. Walk to this building if you are parked in the small lot or walk back to this
building after walking north from where you are parked in the inspecion lot to the building where the clerk is. Pay at the bank THEN walk back to the
north building and the clerk will give you the visa. If you are in the small lot, try to avoid driving to the inspection lot further south. Otherwise
if you are in the inspection lot go to the little booth in the center and fill out a little form, get an inspector to look at your stuff and sign you
off. Then drive to the little exit booth and give that person your signoff ticket and pull up to the guard who will let you out and your on your
way...at least that's how it was for us.

bajacalifornian is right! Don't want to make it sound like a big hassle...it really is not, even if you park in the forward inspection lot. There
were no lines to speak of at any of the stops and the inspection people were very accomidating.
To my wife and I, we just look at whatever it takes to get on our way as already being on our way, and anytime you cross that line between Baja and
wherever you are...your on your way... but your also already there. And there's nothing better than being already in Baja!
