I've just downloaded the latest version of City Navigator North America NT and it is greatly increased in detail in the areas I live in in Sonora. I
mean detail down to some of the most insignificant dirt roads and dirt spurs.
Wondering about other areas, I checked out the Mulege area and in Mulege proper, it seems to have every road on there, too. Same with SR. No detailing
on San Bruno and Chivato, so you folks are still under the radar.
You might download it and check out your community and see if it is enhanced. It seems that the level is now approximate to Google's map (but not
Earth, of course) details.
CNNA NT is the primary mapping software put out by Garmin (I believe in conjunction with Navtec) for North America. I dont know the cost as I have
lifetime maps and traffic upgraded with a Nuvi unit I bought for on-road, auto-routing use. Make no mistake; this is software for on-road use.
I must say that Garmin's new Express update program is much improved over Garmin Lifetime Updater; although it is not without bugs. Garmin really has
a problem writing software for some of it's most important functions.
We'll see if Garmin makes it as a company. Some see all GPS companies as a casualty to the emergence of smart phone GPS apps. Certainly the stock
market seems to think so, the way Garmin got hammered last week. I still prefer the expanded capabilities of a true GPS program, purely for driving
and auto-routing.

I hate going the wrong way in cities, especially ones I'm unfamiliar with. One could wind up dead.
Of course, I've had a GPS take me some wacky routes that were very wrong.
Off pavement, yeah, I like the paper maps. I still carry them for any trip. Just about got my complete collection of Delorme maps for the Western US.
I generally prefer them to the Benchmark maps.
