I still have my 'Between Pacific Tides' on the shelf. It was the marine biologists bible in those days. Now there are books with far prettier glossy
images on the subject. But it's an old friend.
It's never too late. They should have made a film on the Log of Cortez years ago. I think that it's better that Steinbeck authored it rather than
