Starting with Rosarito Central and Going South

La Estancia Restaurant. Their specialties are beef and lamb, but I love their salmon steak cooked over a wood fire and they have many seafood
choices, including a "mixed seafood en papillote".
Vince's Fish Market and Restaurant near the Festival Plaza Hotel in Rosarito Centro. We had lunch there yesterday and I posted a review to the Baja
Restaurants section here.
Both JR's Fish Tacos (no relation to each other) south of the Pemex station on the free road. the first one is about one mile past the Pemex and is
our favorite. The other is near the traffic signal intersection for the Baja 2000 freeway entrance and has a more varied menu. Both have very tall
and visible signage.
Much farther south, off the Cantamar/Primo Tapia exit on the toll road, Ana del Mar is adjacent to the tire store and the glass replacement store,
they have a full menu but the fish and shrimp and lobster are very, very good. Then, a hundred feet farther south on the same side is Mariscos
Alegria, a very small storefront with indoor/outdoor seating that serves excellent fish and shrimp tacos, seafood c-cktails in the Mexican style and
has what some locals have told me the best seafood soup ever.
Then, a little bit farther south, at the Cuenca Lechera exit, the entrance to Splash Restaurant is immediately to your left. Splash is a big gringo
favorite with a large menu to choose from, offering seafood, steak and chicken. The obscure location gives diners a spectacular ocean view of
crashing waves, hence the name; the bar is lively and the service is excellent and attentive. Also, every night, there is a rotating cast of musical
entertainment.

From what I know, BajaLucy has family coming in from the Mainland and she's looking for a cool seafood place to take the relatives. Maybe not
something touristy/Puerto Nuevo style. Or maybe? Thanks for the advice all!
