Border Patrol agents are jittery because of this, which may explain some of their moodyness at the border, don't you think?

A Sign of the Times

While they may have been around for quite awhile, for the first time after crossing northbound this month, I noticed the BP SUV's that patrol the border had been modified with Steel-Mesh racks that extend 3-4' over the windshields to deflect thrown projectiles.

It' a Jungle down there.

Even in the Desert.

If they can't handle the front lines, they shouldn't be on them.

Halftime

IF they FURLOUGHED half the agents then the remaining would need to work 30-percent of the day rather than 15.

Which, given their salaries is a LOT to ask.
