A prompt to study Spanish in your mailbox?

I've been getting daily new words for a couple years now, and I find that sometimes they build-up unread. Maybe you'd be better at deleting them to clear your in-box. I try to read them all...some stick.

It is Dictionary.com's Spanish Word of the Day.

Go here and sign-up on the upper right corner.

I've often heard myself apologize for my espanol saying: Poco a poco. This is a good poco I think.

Here's another. They kick this one up a notch:

Dos para la lista de los automobilistas:

  1. aparatoso
  2. homocinética

Unfortunately I didn't get these from my e-mail. An oil seal is a: cello, or usually a retenor. The axle is the: eje. The bearings are :valeros, and the hub is the: masa. :(

Thank you. I only heard them spoken. Your spellings ARE correct.

When I go back to the books, I am often surprised that my mental spelling of words I've learned doesn't match-up with the way they are really spelled! Damn it is going to take a long time to get this effort scraped into a nice tight pile!
