Take sun lotion and wear a big hat. Most of all have fun. Enjoy

Take lots of water as well as other refreshments. Take your garbage when you leave....show that offroaders are more eco-sensitive than ironmen. Have a good time.....

Was there last November for the Baja 1000...Papa Fernandez was a good place to stay at their campqround. We brought our kayak and shore launched to fish. Went out to the entrance on the day of the race and sat with a group of about 40 half being gringos and half being the friends and family related to Papa. The family sold tamales that were excellent!
Not far from the end of the new asphalt either.

Also San Felipe was pretty much empty both on the days before and the day after.
