The Day The Music Died.
"After a raucous night of revelry on the beaches of Conception Bay a dense & relentless fog rolled in from the Sea of Cortez and engulfed 4
thousand boom-boxes...silencing them forever...
Later, many resident eyewitnesses claimed to have heard a faint ....'shhhh..' ...coming from the eerie mist.
Prayers of gratitude will be held at The Shrine of The Bay, 7 pm."

these hot days and cool nights have produced some spooky situations over here on the pacside too...last week, Juan called me from town to give me a
head's up for 5 gray whales who were extremely close to the beach heading up to our point so I grabbed my camera and stepped out our back door to wait
for them....uh...NOT...I couldnt even see the end of the onshore rocks!

Roger,
That is absolutely a beautiful photo with all the shades of grey. It definitely screams calm and quiet.

had a load of Sams once in 2009 and after leaving Guaymas to cross over to Serenidad a dense fog moved over the runway and a mile or 2 beyond all
sides and parked. We diverted to san bruno and waited it out until a ph call to the desk said it cleared and come on in. Have only seen fog like that
3 times in over 30 years flying in.
