There is a guy near where the Palapa restaurant use to be oppsiite the gas station on the hwy. I think he has a store, restaurant & internet cafe.

You mention you know of Hugo- just curious as to why you don't use him. I have personally had really good luck with him. We left Mulege in Feb for a
short trip to Mainland Mexico and he was in the process of moving his computer repair business from the palapa restaurant (Senor Gechos) to a store

If you have basic Internet speed (faster the better) I would highly recommend using www.teamviewer.com to allow a trusted computer savvy friend to access your computer and do what you need to do. It is an in invaluable tool.
I have my friends, parents, and friend's parents (in their 80's) set up with it. Works any computer. Basically when they have a problem they call me
and I just use teamviewer to gain access to their computer from anywhere in the world. I can see their desktop and control everything just as if I was
sitting down at the actual computer.
It's very secure and you can watch your trusted friend to do what she/he needs to do to your computer at the same time. Just the other day my friend's
83 year old mother in New York called me because she was having an email problem .
I was actually having lunch in Coronado. I was able to log into her computer (while talking to her on the phone) on my iphone. Fix her problem and bam
she is back on her way

I concur with mrfatboy...I have used teamviewer as well as crossloop. Failing that windows has a built in remote assistance feature that works very
well (in Win 7 poke the start button and at the bottom type in "remote assistance"). However, the real key to it all is the "trusted" assistant.
Since I work in IT at the helpdesk side I hear all the horror stories of how someone was getting "help" and poof...files all gone. No amount of help
is worth that at any price. If I have to say back up all of your stuff on a flash drive before you let someone touch it...we're already in
