Super Siphon

Taco de Baja - 11-9-2004 at 08:30 AM

or go to ebay (they have EVERYTHING)
cheaper too. $10 for 3 valves, but you have to buy a hose.

0r $15 you get one with a hose and 3 extra valves!

You should try one

Why would you need a siphon hose. Are you stealing your neighbors gas? I'm gonna call the cops.

I must be a klutz, but I have only been able to get them to work in full 5 gal cans - never on a half full can. Mine got burned up last week so I'll go back to the clear hoses.

Keri they make to much noise banging on the bottom of the tank People can hear it at night for a block

bajalou - 11-10-2004 at 05:42 PM

I think that is the best solution for the siphon. I?m going to be checking out flea markets and yard sales. (I?m cheap)

West Marine...

lists the 'universal' hose @ $16.99...I think I've seen the same Tempo Brand hoses @ Wally World for 2-3 bucks less...

Here's the West Marine URL:

I've also used these hoses to transfer fuel...be sure to drain them completely when finished. They tend to go 'Viagra' on you if left over time with fuel inside!

FrankO - 11-11-2004 at 08:17 AM

Or you can get one of those skinny ended funnels at Kragen for 99 cents. That way the hose just has to get close.

Bruce R Leech - 11-11-2004 at 07:40 PM

Doesn't anybody just get gas at the gas station anymore?:lol::lol::lol:

Well as you know Bruce

Keri - 11-11-2004 at 07:54 PM

gas stations here in Baja are in short supply. A person has to be prepared for any situation..: spingrin::tumble::spingrin: Oh and Thanks to all for your help. I'm going to try to get one here in Rosarito, k
