I forgot to post this a few weeks ago, but for those of you who are House Hunter Intnl. fans, there are two episodes, one on Rocky Point and another
featuring San Carlos.
It is the usual stuff, condos and beach houses, but, nonetheless, interesting.Stickers - 4-4-2013 at 11:35 AM
I like that show and I think I saw the one about San Carlos.
They bought an $850,000 (dollars) home sancho - 4-4-2013 at 11:55 AM
I caught a P Penasco show, lots of high rise's
look maybe 15 stories, condos $130,000,
I imagine there is a sizeable pop no. of
the border in AZ./ Phx., and that is the closest spot

Yea, when I tell my friends here in Fenix that I am going to Mexico, they always say, "where's you house in Rocky Point?"
Of course that is when the geography lessons start. It is amazing the number of people who have no idea what is accross from Rocky Point.
Of course when I tell them that San Felipe is much nicer than Rocky Point, the feathers start to fly!!Pescador - 4-5-2013 at 07:34 AM
I had to haul our boat to San Carlos to do a haulout and inspection, so figured since it was on the sticks for a couple of days I would explore where
I was first exposed to Mexico. All I can say is that I am so glad I live in Santa Rosalia area. It is very developed in the San Carlos/ Guaymas area
and almost hard to believe all of the people. From a nostalgic standpoint it was fun to visit but it is beyond my tolerance as a place to live. But
then I get uneasy when I am second in line on the launch ramp in San Bruno.sancho - 4-5-2013 at 12:08 PM

I know you frequent SF, heard a myth of sorts, that
the lights of P Penasco can be seen from SF? Not
looking at a map, guessing that is 40-50 mi. across?
Seems a bit far fetched, the highest point in SF, I know
of, save the Mtns. to the west, is Punta Machorro no.
end of SF bay, about 900+ ft
