NOW CALLED CASA HUARACHE (Formerly Farley)

Udo - 4-8-2013 at 05:14 PM

BAHIA ASUNCIÓN BEACHFRONT HOUSE FOR RENT:
$1,300.00+- per month, winter season, rates negotiable the rest of the year.

When my wife and I stay, we pic nic on the beach in front of the house. One of the premier surfing location in Baja is called CEDROS BEACH, and that is right outside your front door.

Minimum rental is for one week. Long term available also.

The house is the "pick of the litter" (to quote a previous renter) of the houses available for rent in Bahia Asunciňn.

It has TWO complete bedrooms and separate baths. One room is decorated in Flip Flops and the other in a Lighthouse theme.

It now also has numerous gourmet kitchen tools and electrics, that would give any decent cook a well equipped repertoire of cooking accessories.
A similar house in California would rent for at least $4,000 per month, and more, dependent on what city it is in.

I have a library of about 2000+ (not a misprint) of old DVDs and new Blue ray DVDs for your viewing pleasure. I will also have a Blue Ray player at the house.
I'll also have a library of Blue Ray DVDs, but those will be locked up and available when you need to view them.

You may bring your ROKU TV, that is internet dependent, and the WI-FI has not been that reliable in town.

We should have a wired phone line to the house, soon. We got our name in the line thanks to Shari's help

The house is fully equipped and all you need to bring are clothes, a toothbrush, toiletries, and some coffee you like to brew. A coffee grinder is there now, for those who like to grind their own beans.
Lots of gourmet cooking utensils and electric appliances. There is even a library of cook books if you need some cooking ideas.
Stunning sunrise and sunset views.
Kayaks available for your use.

We accept checks, money orders, or paypal payments.

At that price, you should have plenty of business. Good luck with your new venture.

Welcome to the neighborhood!

If I want to escape the heat of Fenix and San Philipe, what is the weather like in, lets say August?

You would do well in Bahia Asuncion. Our place is next door to Udo's new rental, and sometimes we do run our ceiling fans, and that is it. On the bay side of town, it can be quite warm --- not hot like Fenix or San Phillipe, but quite warm. But on our ocean side, it is a lot cooler, usually. Our air conditioning is, open the windows. Seriously, there are nights we leave the ceiling fan on all night and with that, we are more than comfortable with a light blanket.

Another advantage of the ocean side is the noise factor. Where there is a fiesta in town, you can enjoy it to the wee hours of the morning and then pop over the hill to a peaceful and quiet environment. It is why we love the location.

Now, if there is a hurricane in the neighborhood, which is not common, all bets are off as far as the weather!

Udo - 4-9-2013 at 08:10 AM

August is wide open and should be quite cool compared to San Felipe and Phoenix, about 25 degrees cooler, Cortez.

Udo

very nice, I just book marked it

Udo - 4-9-2013 at 08:46 AM

I wish I could figure out how to organize my bookmarks by a topic folder. I must have 200 bookmarks and have a devil of a time finding what I am looking for.

Don't know if this will work for your system, but if not, Google will give you the correct info:

Used my portable dish summer before last (4ft.) could only get Sat 129 for hi-def with dish network. Does direct work in Asuncion? Thanks Cliff

tiotomasbcs - 4-9-2013 at 10:41 AM

Good luck. BA is very nice during late summer. When will you be living in your new home? Also, check previous posts or u2u Alan as I believe DishTV is what you need!? Don't forget Hacienda taxes. Enjoy. Tio

tripledigitken - 4-9-2013 at 11:44 AM

Udo,

Have you finalized the Fidecomiso? Curious as to how long a process it was.

Thanks,

Ken

And the concession for being in the Federal Zone.....if you are that close.

Are these "can of worms" questions?
Hope not.

tripledigitken - 4-9-2013 at 12:35 PM

What business transaction in Mexico doesn't involve cans of worms? It's the charm of MX.

Udo - 4-9-2013 at 04:46 PM

This now two months into the sale...and so far no Fido. I have paid lots of lawyer fees.
At least with the house insurance in force now I know something is on the way.

That is why I made the announcement this week. It's been a TOP SECRET DEAL for the last two moths. I know I can TRUST the handful of people I have told the news a few weeks ago.

Hook - 4-9-2013 at 07:21 PM

And you will be filing with Hacienda and gone "Lucrativo", I trust? Or, are you buying this through a corporation? Guess not, with a fideo. Either way, Hacienda needs to know. INM needs to know.

All you need is a disgruntled competitor to tip them off. It's not like it's a secret, at this point.

Each area of town has its positive and negatives....seems like the majority of locals enjoy the bay side...to each her own:light:

capt. mike - 4-10-2013 at 12:52 PM

as i understand it, if you are setting it up as a rental and report/pay the taxes on income and IVA etc. you CAN own it as a corp. My friends did it in Mulege no problem. House and lot in name of a corp mex.

Been thru that house - great property, good for you!

Udo - 4-10-2013 at 01:22 PM

That is why we are going through the attorney that Shari recommended. The corporation is in process, and the Hacienda will know as soon as the paperwork is complete.

The idea of the Fido first was the attorney's, because there are two lots involved which will be merged.
I was told, that legally I have to register the house first, (therefore the Fido), form the corporation, then merge the two lots as one.

karmatourer - 4-16-2013 at 08:52 PM

Udo,are you looking for a long term renter?

Bob H - 4-16-2013 at 09:22 PM

Looks like Pompano (Roger) and co-pilot are there for the next month! The place is in good hands, for sure. And, the trip reports and photos are fantastic!!

lizard lips - 4-17-2013 at 07:24 AM

Nice Pad Udo. Good Luck!

Udo - 4-18-2013 at 08:25 AM

Now that I just received the Fideicomiso and the corporation papers, I am allowed to accept long-term renters.
Please let me know for how long, karmatourer.

Thanks, buddy!

We are looking forward to spending some time there ourselves. In the mean time, we are bringing some decorative items and some maintenance-repair items in June (new shower heads, door locks, draft/dust stoppers, caulking, etc).

The house was rented for the Christmas season, this year, but the renters backed out.
Therefore it is back to being available for the Christmas-New Year's of this year!

DianaT - 9-24-2014 at 10:14 AM

Is it for sale still? I notice that neither your place or Bajaluna's place show up on Craig's list anymore?

Good luck and hope you find another renter!

BajaBoomerBabe - 9-24-2014 at 10:31 AM

very nice looking place, maybe I'll rent it someday.

Udo - 9-24-2014 at 12:25 PM

Yes, it is still for sale, as well as for rent.

I'll check my ads.
