I'm pretty sure this has been covered here before but none of my searches here, or elsewhere on the web have been helpful.
We need to turn in a TIP that we got several years ago in La Paz for our annual travels to the mainland. Looks like we will be headed to San Diego
next week pulling our boat for engine repairs. I thought maybe this would be a good time to turn the thing in. I assumed the banjercito office would
be right in the middle of the border mess and was thinking that it might be easier to turn in the TIP on the way INTO Mexico rather than on the way
OUT. We could do it either way.
Anyone have any thoughts on that? And remember, we'll be pulling a boat. We have never gone to banjercito in Tijuana. Looking it up on google maps
shows a real nightmare of underpasses/overpasses that then send you to a nondescript building on a hill with no parking in a residential area. It is
the address that I was given at banjercito in La Paz but it seems so improbable that I'm hoping someone can fill me in on where it is and how to get
there.
If it works out, we would prefer to leave the country through Tecate (where we can NOT turn in the TIP) and come back down through Tijuana, where we
would, hopefully, turn in the TIP.
Any suggestions, maps, landmarks, would be terrific.

A person contacted me because I turned in mine at San Ysidro 3-4 years ago. I had a map on my site but they redid that crossing and it is no longer
there.
But the people went there and they were told to go to Otay Mesa. They were very wise they hired a taxi right there to follow. It is confirmed
by two people now.
After done if you want to go to tecate to cross it is very simple from there.
I have maps and pictures of the location in Otay Mesa.
