Dentist Los Algodones

I have a niece who needs 6 crowns that is considering getting the work done in Algodones. She does not have a Rv so would be staying in a hotel. Does anybody have a positive recent experience with a dentist in Algodones? Secondly the Quechan Casino appears to be a decent hotel although maybe a little "smokey." Any opinions on a reasonable hotel?

Hola, Per Pompanos Recommendation from 2 years ago My wife and I went there last month. We visited
Dr Luis Medina Jr.
A & 2nd Ave
Suite 205
Plaza Pueblo

MX 52-658-517-3360
usa 928-227-1040

We called and made an appointment both he and his two assistants speak english. They have a very small office but were very clean and had the most up to date equipment. We only had cleaning and xrays 30.00. But I did talk to a lady who was there and had extensive work done she was very happy with the work.

I would highly recommend Him.

I spoke to the niece and all 6 crowns are in the front of her mouth. She lives in Seattle so returning (in the event of problems) is problematic. Has anybody had recent experience with major dental work by Dr Medina or any others in Los Algodones?

Just been to Eva Urena in March for annual checks. My wife and I have been going there for 3 years and have had root canal, crowns, fillings, cleaning and a partial denture. The best dentist we have ever had anywhere including UK, Australia, Italy and USA.

She emails and organises everything and confirms prices before treatment.

We stay at the Hacienda Hotel in Algodones. Clean, cheap, secure, five minutes from all the dentists and full of Gringos.

Thanks Cessna. I think the niece was going to stay at Quechan Casino but the Hacienda should work out better for her. Ron

It now looks like we will take the niece in our motorhome. Initially the niece was going to drive her car with her 70 lb lab but Quechan doesn't accept pets ("unless a service dog") and an email from Hacienda in Algodones says they accept dogs up to 20 lbs. Looks like there are several motels around Yuma that might accept a larger dog- any recommendations for motels in and around Algodones (including Yuma) that accept large dogs?
