It's blowing like February or March out there . . .

bajacalifornian - 4-18-2013 at 11:52 AM

April se paso de loco!

My friend Guti recalls a year the wind blowing May 22. Same year had rain in May.

Howard - 4-18-2013 at 12:03 PM

Same here is Loreto, very, very windy.

bajacalifornian - 4-18-2013 at 12:30 PM

Maybe only Loreto has wind :?:

Howard - 4-18-2013 at 01:02 PM

Does not appear to have a threat of rain, we have clear and blue skies, just the strong winds.

DENNIS - 4-18-2013 at 02:03 PM

Just picked up here in PB with gusts to 25MPH.

Gawwwdammm...I'd rather have an STD than constant wind. At least I could get rid of the STD.

Mula - 4-18-2013 at 02:05 PM

Blowing like heck here in San Nicolas, too.

64 overnight - 74 was the high yesterday. We were in our polar fleeces all day.

Today so far up to 77 but very gritty.

What the hey!

DavidE - 4-18-2013 at 02:45 PM

Supposed to be some kind of "heat wave". Wind blew from opposite direction here today. Needed for the sand to change places anyway.

May & June are good allthough the yellowtail will be hit and miss.

July is excelllent.

August and September can be even better if you know how to read the conditions.

chuckie - 4-18-2013 at 04:52 PM

David K - 4-18-2013 at 06:02 PM

Yeah....it's been blowing from the NNW most of the day.

Channel 8 says more tomorrow.

Leo - 4-18-2013 at 06:57 PM

I am getting sick and tired of it. Blowing here every day for the the last few weeks. I wane go home.

Russ - 4-18-2013 at 06:58 PM

NNW to 30mph high gust with an average around 20. 77º high today. Dust every where inside and I hate ! cleaning. Even the dog stayed inside most of the day.

liknbaja127 - 4-18-2013 at 07:45 PM

Leaving for Punta Chivato on saturday, pick up your new Thing!
hoping for some nice weather!

micah202 - 4-18-2013 at 09:47 PM

....mannn,,some of you should try sailing or other wind-sports:tumble:
I remember one time arriving into SanCarlos,,a camper warned us how the wind get's up 'real nasty' -every- afternoon

....''that's why we're here''!!

Hook - 4-19-2013 at 06:28 AM

Yesterday, San Carlos' windiest location, The Caracol, had a gust of 49 mph. At times, it was akin to a whiteout, yesterday, from blowing dust.

Windy conditions predicted again, today, but less so.

micah202 - 4-19-2013 at 07:06 PM

....I guess I have it lucky--Baja is twice as fun if you enjoy those winds!!:tumble:

Russ - 4-20-2013 at 12:13 PM

Yea where are they,, haven't heard from them

shari - 4-21-2013 at 07:03 AM

hmmm...if Febrero is "loco" and Marzo "otro poco"...then what's going on now in Abril??? After maddening winds, we had a day of 100 degree weather with Santa Ana winds for a couple hours...so hot I had to brave the freezing ocean to cool off....brrrrr.

And for the last couple days we've had chamber of commerce perfect days...around 80, a nice breeze to keep things cool and sunny...beach weather...woo hooo and it looks like it's gonna be nice all week...which is friggin awesome as we will be at our "summer home" hahahaha....er cabin...in San Roque!

vgabndo - 4-21-2013 at 03:04 PM

Good for your Girl! Enjoy it. I'm envious. We had a little snow last week! Very windy here too. In between, lots of gardening on 70 degree spring days! We miss your part of the world.

4/22/13 Today

NorthWet gente special clima para vsd

Chilly, blowing, cloudy, gloomy. Everything precious to the coastal Oregonian, Wahingtonian, and Canuck. All that's missing is rain and green hell and you folks would be right at home.
