Earthquake!

bajalorena - 4-25-2013 at 03:45 PM

Just had a pretty good jolt in BuenaVista at 4:40pm. It will be interesting to see what it registered.

Did you have frijoles again?

Nothing felt in Loreto but it's a long way from B.V.

I heard a bang then the grown moved. Went outside looking for dust or smoke. That was a good one.

:wow:

USGS Says No (but what do they know - they're in D.C.)

T'was merely Carlos Slim dropping his deposit into the slot...

Correcamino - 4-25-2013 at 06:37 PM

DavidE

Funny you should mention mi amigo Carlos: he made 824.3 million USD today!. :O Would make a healthy thump!

Not making this up: you can go to this site and track Senor Slim and all your favorite sickeningly wealthy people:

www.bloomberg.com/billionaires/

Carlos often makes (or loses) well over a billion dollars in 24 hours.

Ay, cabron!

chuckie - 4-25-2013 at 07:45 PM

Hey! Carlos Slim and those SWP's as you call them are simply smarter than the rest of us...More power to em.....

UnoMas - 4-25-2013 at 09:04 PM

Felt it here in Los Barriles, sounded like an explosion then the house shake. :o

Mulegena - 4-25-2013 at 09:16 PM

Couple little shakers here in Mulege tonight.

Correcamino - 4-25-2013 at 10:26 PM

USGS still shows nothing. WTF!? Aliens? Secret Area 51 supersonic stuff? I don't get it: all these posters are feeling something!

We found out that not all very local quakes are shown on the USGS site. We were not there for the first series of small quakes in Bahia Asuncion, but we have been there when there were more. They were small, except they felt STRONG being right on top of them.

Then again, ET may just be calling with a very loud voice.

Marinero
4:45pm mas o menos.

Marinero - 4-27-2013 at 05:41 PM

Hmmm, should have felt it, but did not.
