Roll up garage doors

Cappy - 5-3-2013 at 11:58 AM

I am building a bodega and trying to find a metal roll up door. I am in todos santos so either Cabo or La Paz. Any of you wonderful people have any experience with such an item ? Muchos gracias

Maybe you could ask a shop owner if you get nothing here. Most smaller stores seem to use them.

Check Home Depot in La Paz. I checked for an automatic opener and they carry those. So, likely also the doors.

Ed...I think there are different "grades"...sheet metal gauges on roll-up doors. The type used on storefronts are heavy gauge, whereas the type on garage doors seems to be thinner.
Just a thought.

There is a company in Ensenada that makes them any size. He comes as far South as Punta Abreojos. I'll have to get there name.

Baja Doors. This is their mother company in San Diego:

They sold me a garage door and were a pleasure to deal with when the motor went bad. They were out here in no time and considered it guarantee work.
My door is still more flimsy than the store front doors. There's at least one, probably many shops in town that work with these.

We have one in our shop. I will try to find a number for you. He was in San Lucas.
