Lovely! I wasn't aware of these, but then I remembered the Steinbeck novel "the Pearl." I guess it took decades for these to recover from
overharvesting.

She said she saw her first La Paz pearl in a jewelry store... I found my first one in an oyster c-cktail.

Mid seventies, a lot of the Loreto fishermen would go to La Paz in the summer and dive for pearls. Too hot to do anything in Loreto.

Hi Nomads. My Mom left me a small box of them and I would like to have them appraised. I have asked some jewelers and they don't seem to know much if
anything about them. I would like to will or gift them to my daughters. Anyone know of a person or jeweler close to me that would know their value?
They were purchased in La Paz in the mid 60's.
