It suffered a rollover and you can't tell. Well built!Barry A. - 6-13-2013 at 01:57 PM
I have always believed that 4-cyl. will get you there, and this tends to support that belief.
Driver finesse (sp?) wins out over brute-force most of the time, but it may take slightly longer to get there.

Pepe Palomo did not win first place at this year's Top Truck Challenge, but I still want to buy the video and watch his truck in action when he hits
the trails down in Baja. Yes, he 'wheels with the clubs from the Tijuana/San Diego area.mtgoat666 - 6-14-2013 at 02:19 PM

not sure the number of cylinders has much relevance,... if i put big tires and lift and new gearing on a 2 cylinder citroen 2CV i could probably drive
thru same mud!

Barry
My last Toyota was a 1992 4-cyl. and it went pretty much anywhere I needed to go, so when we were shopping for a new one three years ago we test drove
the Tacoma 4 cyl---it felt pretty gutless, even with a stick. The Tacomas are bigger these days and the 4 cyl. seems like not enough juice to pull
the extra weight around. The 6 cyl has been great out in the wildlands.Ken Cooke - 6-14-2013 at 05:53 PM

Unfortunately, that is the 2012 Top Truck Challenge.
We will have to wait several months for the DVD to see why this Tacoma ended up with a damaged windshield.
