Game over!

Game over!
East Cape weather has been picture perfect this week with calm seas and warm sunny days. There is a hint of humidity during the day. Water temps are now consistantly above 80 degrees

For the last month billfish have been spawning and have not had much of an appetite. It has been a cat and mouse game as they would be attracted to baits presented but just bat them around not allowing a hook set. We were having lots of events but only scoring on one out of five or six. The spawn is over and so is the little game. Now fish are hungry aggressively attacking lures trolled and sucking down baits.

Dorado and wahoo remain in the game as well but are scattered with no concentration. Most of the dorado are good grade in the 30 to 45 pound range but most of the wahoo are relatively small. In shore huge schools of jack cravelle are foaming on baits and roosterfish are also becoming active.

On another note. After 20 years of serving the East Capes scuba and snorkel requests we have liquidated Vista Sea Sport and will now just concentrate on fishing.

Beautiful pictures and beautiful fish. Happy Anglers. Agajanians connected to Ben Agajanian? Thanks. On the Pacific the wind has dropped and we're warming up! Tio
