BajaNomad

Wouldn't You Know . . .

Sonia & I came to the Rosarito area to escape Loreto's summer heat. Also, closer to our sons in San Diego than Lopez.

Finding rentals for three months from Plaza Del Mar to Santa Martha . . . wouldn't you know the very best spot

is that of a Nomad.

A 15 year jump back in time secured his place. Along this coast things have changed.

The heart and soul of life on this bluff, however, remain an oasis steeped in Baja feelings.

Neighbors are coming one by one.

Arnie. Hangs out mostly doing pushups all day.

One after another

A favorite neighbor, CoCo. Lived here all her life. Has a key to the house.

The First Breakfast

K38 Restaurant at the el Morro bridge. The real deal. Flavor & pure Baja. Ya ought to try it.

Phil & Kim, Phil C on this board. A highly experienced adventurer, expert skier, Baja explorer and fisherman . . . friend to many.

The question is asked, "what's to be done in Baja"?

Hit the ball toward the island. See a splash you've missed.

Herby, proprietor of the new Paradise Cove Tiki Bar & Grill at K36. Great drinks!. Will go for food later today. The place feels good.

Morning Coffee Hours

A sideways world.

Sure as we've all looked at the Pacific to the west in the Baja, the horizon lies to the south along this section of coastline.

I wrestle with this orientation in my mind.

Looking east, the bay holds the marine layer at sea while the sun breaks through early mornings.

Perhaps part of what adds gold to this coast.

Unpacked and new internet installed, we're ready to roll. Must do San Diego for a week then it's off to the ranches.

Amigo, good luck in your new summer digs. I was going to say BornFisher lives near there but he just piped in! Look up a weekender friend of mine, too--Arturo. Riding waves in place of horses. Campo Martha? I've surfed and partied there a few times in the past! Tecate Can is a Sixties Landmark. Enjoy. Viva La Vida!:tumble: Tio
