So it appears obvious to me the most cost effective and safest, for my truck, parking seems to be at Delta Trucking.
I understand how to get to the TJ taxi stand, however, when returning is the question.
When you take a taxi to the border, does the taxi have a back street to get close to the pedestrian crossing, or do they have to wait in line?

I do not know where that parking is, so can only comment on Otay crossing for taxi. also are you flying? if so mine is aimed at flying from tj
airport.
as noted taxi can take you to the door where their is a ready pedestrian walk in lane to the left of the long line who are not in the ready line
behind you where the taxi driver dropped you off. So you are dropped of in front of the line. Same with a bus that departs from airport, but bus
may only run ever hour or two. You would ideally have a ready pass.
To SY definitely take a bus for the special entrance they have. Those buses/vans leave the airport every 15 minutes or so.tunaeater - 6-24-2013 at 06:47 PM
I have done the delta truck parking. It was a very positive experience. There is a side road that the taxi takes from the airport to the Otay border.

Just did it 3 weeks ago. Very easy. I paid $16 for the taxi back. The taxi driver cut his way thru all the traffic and dropped us off right at the
Sentri gate. A lot of honking and yelling by other drivers. Lol. No one in line at Sentri. Just walked on thru.

It's a back street, same line as SENTRI, but they drive right to the front. No wait driving, the wait to cross depends on the pedestrian line. There

That was my experience a while back, no the taxi
does not wait in the reg vehicle line, drives directly
to the ped line, I suppose it depends on which day
you are walking back, I spent 0 min. in line, maybe on

Sitting in the Sentri lane I have watched the taxis zip past us to the front of the border crossing; there is no wait for them. The road is a little
weird because you have 2 Sentri lanes to the left, and then a 2-way street to the right; and everyone shares the same roadway. As messed up as it
sounds, it seems to work. But no, the taxi doesn't wait in any line to get to the border crossing.
That said, if the pedestrian line is backed up pretty far, I have seen the taxis drop people towards the end of the line. But if there is no line

You are talking about crossing over at Otay, getting
a taxi to the TJ airport and returning back thru the Otay
crossing in the ped line?
Or maybe I'm not reading it correctly, your reference
to the TJ taxi stand has me thinking you are refering
to the taxi stand at the old TJ border ped crossing?
Which the taxis are still there, just that the ped
crossing into Mex has moved to the east side of
Hwy 5, near the end of the San Diego Trolley line
