Yellowtail show up a month early in Asuncion!

All those early hurricanes has pushed warm water up our way a month earlier than usual. The bay is chocked full of bait with birds everywhere. So Juan & his brother set out early and got their limit in an hour!!! the cats and I are stoked with fresh fish...sashimi at happy hour today folks!



I love it when the Toyota looks like this!


The calico fishing is going off right now too, both on the rocks and from a panga.

That's the biggest calico I've ever seen. Could it be a baby black seabass?

hmmm...lets hear what the experts have to say....we have been getting calico or whatever they are... that size for a month now... crazy eh!

those toad calicos turn almost black when they are about 20 years old. i've seen some 10#ers that were almost black. they live +/- 40 years or so.....

Juan confirmed it was a calico too...the eyes were so yummy!
