I Went into town today for three miles to buy milk and orange juice.
Five days ago I had a quarter tank of gas.
When I hit the road, I noticed the fuel was below empty.
At the local convenience store, I asked if anyone was selling gasoline and the teller said "Yes, next door."
I walked down a long gravel driveway, past a very friendly female pit bull and I was calling out, "Hola, hola, hola".
The family came out and said."Please wait for ten minutes". (It was more like an hour.) but a very polite teenager directed me into the yard when they
were ready where they refilled my car and gave me change and the nice young man guided me out.
