Guillermo's sells them in Bahia de los Angeles. But I'd rather have one in hand before I got there. See above options.mcfez - 7-24-2013 at 11:21 PM
Getting a FL in San Felipe is not the way to go :-( Once upon a time is was possible at the port's office.......
Best to buy on line. Make a photocopy of it.....place the copy in your glove compartment (in case you loose the original while out fishing).shari - 7-25-2013 at 06:49 AM
dont count on getting one in Mexico as most places that sold them have run out and the government arent printing any more...so please come to Baja
with your licenses in hand.BajaRat - 7-25-2013 at 07:25 AM

A few weeks ago we got ours @ the tourist office located on the main street before the malecon. It is a 3 step process but actually didn't take that
long. Don't try it on weekends' their closed.MitchMan - 7-27-2013 at 09:19 AM
I got my fishing license in La Paz at the Kiosk in the old Soriana kiosk a week ago. In the past, when I got my annual license there, I was only
charged for the license with no other fees. This time I was charge an "estatal" fee of 65 pesos in addition to the charge of the license.
Any body else get charged an estatal fee?willardguy - 7-27-2013 at 10:36 AM
nope, not in rosarito a few weeks agojbcoug - 7-27-2013 at 04:28 PM
Just bought mine online and printed it out. Everything is correct, bought a 30 day license, except it has no dates. It says it is for a month, but
what month who knows? Is this normal?
Johnbkbend - 7-29-2013 at 08:09 AM
When ordering online you specify a start date and length of time you want the license. Periodo should state un mes and vigencia del with a start date
al end date. I don't know if the process will allow you to print out (actually send via email) the license without entering the date. A properly
coded form would kick you back to the start, but who knows???MitchMan - 7-29-2013 at 08:26 AM
Two years ago I got an annual fishing license through the mail. I thought that you could stipulate the start date for the license, so I stipulated a
future start date on the application. When I got the license in the mail, they disregarded the start date that I requested and gave me a license with
a start date that was the date they received/processed the application.
I called them to complain and was told that you can stipulate a start date for any of the licenses that are not annual licenses, but that the annual
license's are different in that regard and are limited to a start date that is the day they receive/process the application, regardless of what the
applicant stipulates on the application. Makes no sense to me, but that is what they told me their policy is.

Got one last week in Rosario Beach, 553 pesos. Location is a tourist info office, across street from La Costa plaza, and behind the Don Pisto liquor
store. Pretty much center of town.
