I'll get into it with locals at breakfast in the morning, but anyone with general information on the microbuses that flourish on the roadway here?
I've friends to see at K55, like to drop into Primo Tapia ( I hear of a good butcher and meat there), maybe go as far as Punta Banda. Return home
without driving. Maybe jump up to the border. Plus, there can be a mess of traffic, lanes to cut across . . . friggin' scary in the big city.
Apart from "have change", what have you got?
Maybe like hand lining. No real interest. Anyone?

Jose, the caretaker around here just stopped by.
Microbuses travel between Primo Tapia and the Cento in Rosarito. White taxis go as far as La Mission. Covers K55 for me.
I'm hoping the microbuses go further. Uncertain if Jose has been that far.
I'll take my camera and notebook.
TJ & Ensenada . . . go to the bus station near La Paloma by the 711 near the toll both. I'll learn the border and Punta Banda as I get there.
Jose summarized by saying ABC was faster, microbuses are slower.

I've never seen a Micro on the road south of La Mision.

I don't know. Maybe?? There aren't many people out there though. I think Micro's are privately owned, so they need fares to make a living and

If I were without wheels in La Mision, I would pull up a chair at Poco Cielo or La Fonda and enjoy beverages and lunch. If you present yourself with
clothing and attitude that are positive, betcha that a conversation and a ride south could be negotiated with a southern traveler within a couple of
hours.
Odds of hitching a ride south would increase on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Yep, that's Baja's KM 59 transportation terminal: Poco Cielo or La
Fonda.
You could also throw out a request for transportation appointment here on Nomad with a specific date and time to meet at PC or LF.
