Anyone identify this plant?

Watering, here at the summer digs, I met this
"marshmallow succulent".

It's new to me.

It is a split rock or cleft stone succulent.
Cause it looks like a rock that split in half.

I love these. I use to have a pot full of them...they come in some different colors, too....a reddish, darker green and light sort of yellow color. Were these volunteers??

is it smokable ?

bajacalifornian - 7-26-2013 at 12:02 PM

Hey grace59,

Phil C & his wife, on this board, have met orphans throughout the Baja, and provided shelter for them, here.

Smokable ? . . . crossed my mind.

That belongs to the genus Lithops (Greek for "stone-eye"). More at http://www.lithops.net/
