The movie seemed to be early 60's vintage based on dress, hair, planes, buildings and the give-a-way was seeing Diaz' charter boat... so I checked in
Gene Kira's great book, 'The Incredible Sea of Cortez', page 99...
The fishing boat 'San Agustin II' was purchased by Papa Diaz in 1962 and refurbished in Kino Bay, arriving at L.A. Bay about 1963... and he sold it in
1982.

this is kind of interesting, of the half dozen airlines that served baja in the 50's,60's,70's this one took you to bay of LA and mulege!

That one is Capt. Muņoz airline. From Mulege he went on to Pto Vallarta then back.
