Tecate Border crossing

J.P. - 8-1-2013 at 12:19 PM

Had to make a quick trip to the states yesterday crossed at Tecate about 10 am. about 30min. wait . We did our business and decided to come back to Baja through San Ysidro, wrong decision the border patrol on the U.S. side was in their Harassing mode and had traffic backed up past the duty free exit.

There is just no end to their "control freak" BS. If it was really a viable road block, they would never take it down.

They remind me of the time I spent in the army between Korea and Vietnam we didn't have a mission so it seemed the make do work would never end.:?::?:

As previously stated the cross time at Tecate being reasonable the guy in the booth was bored and wanted to chat.
It never ends.

I actually think that the occasional road block on the US side is somehow political to appease the Mexican government. But, I hate it.

Now that describes it pretty well doesn't it. They slow up traffic going north and make you wait for 3 or 4 hours and then you can see some little guy in an office overlooking the whole situation and he gets an evil grin on his face and says, "Those people going south look entirely too happy, so let's set up some kind of stupid roadblock and slow them down too." He was probably laughing with an evil resonance in the background and smiling a really evil smile and shouting at the cars, " Now you can really see how powerful this government can be, we can stop you at will and make your time and life miserable".
