UFO Detection Software

LancairDriver - 8-13-2013 at 12:55 PM

For those who have wondered about a MOVING object overhead in the sky, usually observed through the less than perfect lens of the bottom of an upturned Pacifico bottle, this amazing software will answer all questions in real time. Includes Who, What, Where from, Where going, how high, how fast, lat/long etc.
Simply touch the aircraft symbol near your location.

And another free one you can use at night or in daylight is Google Sky Map for iphones and Android based phones:

For iPhones I really enjoy Skyview

https://itunes.apple.com/app/id404990064?mt=8

There is a free but more limited version too. It's worth the 2 bucks.

Whatever happened to eyeballs?

I cannot remember when I heard an aircraft in the sky after dark in Mexico...

Helicopters at sunset yes, but not airplanes in the dark.

As Johnathan Winters used to say "UFO's? Yeah, I seen one right over there, just as I was taking out the empties"

Used to be they didn't fly at night. I slept a night on the floor in Rodriguez INTL/TJ waiting for an AM flight to La Paz. Me and a security guard were the only people in the building.
I don't know if that's changed. It was a long time back.

I got into the c-ckpit on the flight south and noticed the pilot was using a road map for navigation. It was a loose operation back then.

These apps don't work well without eyes. My eyes can see satellites and distant stars and constellations, but an app that can identify all of them, I think is pretty dang cool. :o:o
