What site do you recommend to find bus schedules, and fares for the peninsula?
I know Greydog hauls from the Tijuana central camionera to centro San Diego, but I am wondering if they have service just to US Customs (where
everyone has to "debark" anyway?) The last taxista said "Twenty Dollars or Walk". I walked.
From there (US CUSTOMS) I'll hoof it. I understand they now have an area with seats for the disabled.
Are the autobuses still maintained at 59F summer and winter? Don't need earplugs, I'm near deaf. Just wonder if I'll need my winter coat.dasubergeek - 9-10-2013 at 03:02 PM
$20 from the central camionera to the border?! That's ridiculous. It shouldn't cost more than $10 ($12 at night) to anywhere in the city from anywhere
else in the city. I've had taxistas try that and I just roll my eyes and say, "No me bajaron del cerro a tamborazos, güey, nomás vale [fill in price I
want to pay here]."
Once you're across you can take the trolley to downtown San Diego. The trolley stop is twenty steps outside the exit of the customs building.

How do you negotiate price from point-to-point with the drivers and know what is a fair price? (Trying to avoid the gringo effect on pricing.)
For example, they are all parked together in a spot, ready to go out. How do you find out what the fair price is for point-to-point on their regular
route.

ABC, Autotransportes de Baja Ca,Bus Co, does/did have a site, don't know it's current status,
you could ballpark a $, I believe it is $135 dlls or so,
TJ/La Paz one way, back in my bus travelling days, I
would take a TJ City bus from the border to the TJ
Central Station, some 4 mi. east of the border, 70 cents
or so, some would be the larger busess, some old school
busess,, the smaller busess would not be too comfortable,

about movies, air conditioning, exactly where the centro de camionera is in Tijuana, how many Kg is allowable as baggage, but the main site covers the

Prices vary based on distance, bus type, your age young or old, and they change over time, so it may hard to provide all that on a website that is not

Every time I showed the old age card at the ticket counter, they looked at me like I was crazy and never heard of any discount.
