Is it because of cynicism? I happened to visit my neighbor yesterday. On her latin music channel was a narcocorrido, with images of civilians riding
around in pickup trucks, standing up in the rear, with those really close-in shots of AK-47 banana clips. Dudes wearing Texas grade cowboy shirts
fondling gold-plated and engraved handguns. Some silhouette shots of RPG (rockets with those mideast St Peter's Basilica shaped charges.
It seems there is a level of hypocrisy in society in Mexico, not suppressed or frowned on, that encourages young people to live down to their
stereotype and go out and die. I haven't been in the USA in a long time. Is the same true there just in other forms.

This was not created to further someone's whacko anti-Mexico agenda. But to keep reading about arrests being made of Federal employees with latin
surnames and then seeing TV Azteca promoting deadly garbage is just plain discouraging.
