Remaining Fall Colors on the way to Lundy Lake

DianaT - 10-12-2013 at 08:51 PM

Just north of Mono Lake is the turn-off to Lundy Lake and then it is only about 5 miles up the canyon to the Lake. The colors are still bright and beautiful, but the early snow has caused the leaves at the higher elevations to begin to fall. Going to be time for a Baja trip soon.

Driving up any of these side roads right now is a bit crazy. One has to take it slow as there are so many photographers out and about with cars not all the way off the road and or tripods set up in the middle of the road.

Just a few pictures John and I snapped that end with the fallen leaves.

Thanks for looking

I think I know where shot #3 was taken. There are some nice brookies there. Only I seem to remember more logs in the area.

Thanks for sharing.

I like the water drops in #4.

Thanks you three.

Igor, your memory is quite correct. If you could climb into that picture with the stream and walk just a bit to your right, you would find all those logs!
