In Ensenada

After touring the main cemetery in Ensenada for Day of the Dead and a shopping trip to Los Globos for fresh vegetables, we tried out this place for
the first time on Saturday with another couple for Linner (late lunch/early dinner).
Outdoor cooking and dining under the trees. Service was excellent and the food was great. They are planning to be open all winter and are installing
overhead covers and outdoor heating. Most of the waiters speak english, our favorite is Jorge.
The four of us shared a salad (could have served 6 people easy) comes with two types of dressing on the side, along with bread. The main course was
chicken, steak and chorizo cooked - grilled - perfectly, brought to the table in an interesting serving dish. Washed it down with five bottles of beer
(total, not each)
Entire bill was around 480 pesos for the four of us, about $12 USD a person.
Well worth it and on my "go back" list.
Wine, beer and mixed drinks available, or if you bring your own wine, corkage is 100 pesos.
Easy directions......... From Reforma (HWY 1) turn west at the "new" Wal-Mart on 11th street (north end of town), cross the bridge and it is on your
right at the corner of Alvarado St. From the Costero, as you enter town from the north, turn east on Alvarado to 11th street.
Enjoy!!!!
